Ever before endured someone give you bad news? What about good news? What’s the big difference or is there a difference? Benny Cenac
Good news – stuff or information which makes us happy, content, reassured, secure and validated.
Unfortunate thing – the opposite.
Thus, apparently there is a difference between negative and positive news – read on.
Have you ever ever obtained bad news however in the end things turned away well or better than you anticipated? Have you ever received great news and over time what you thought was good information became not so good?
From personal experience We can tell you that we have experienced all four –
Very good news that was good.
Not so good news that was bad.
Very good news that We thought was good but ended up being bad.
Unfortunate thing that I thought was bad and concluded up being good.
Puzzled yet? Well I know that over time I actually was often uncertain of the difference between these two apparent opposite emails. But then I discovered that sometimes bad information well for someone can be perceived as very good news for someone else and that good news to 1 person over time can be perceived as bad.
Confused? Allow me to explain.
Found in the end it’s just news and what makes it bad or good or even neutral is not the news itself but how we see it, judge it, examine it or react because of computer.
How can someone perceive unfortunate thing as good you might ask? Or perhaps the opposite, how could someone perceive good news as bad?
Basically – each of us posseses an unique history, experiences, beliefs and values and therefore probably none of us ever see a similar thing or circumstance in the same way.
Someone who is a worrier, negative, pessimistic or rapide might see a postpone as bad when another person who understands the concept of there are things we can control in addition to things we cannot control so why get all upset about something you can’t control or if you can control it get busy.
Found in the end exactly what happens – just happens and what we do is interpret it all structured on our expectations, goals, needs or mindsets and all of these are unique for each and every of all of us.
Let me give you a few personal examples. And if you will consider the explanation although you might not exactly have had exactly the same circumstances, if you will consider it I’ll be you can relate.
Preceding to staring my speaking and training career I had been a national sales supervisor for an international corporation. Long story but the short side is I actually had an issue with my boss, the director and therefore he terminated me. Bad news, right? Well that was all Required to decide it was time for you to get started a career that has persisted over 40 years and has allowed me to see the world (25 countries to date) and work with some great clients and audiences. And so in the end this bad news really was good news.
Here’s another quick one.
Years ago I actually proposed to my partner and she said certainly. Good news right? (No judgments here please). Good over time after doing my best for more than fifteen years I actually decided it turned away time to end it and why? Well, without the gruesome details, the relationship was slowly but surely eroding my self-esteem, confidence and optimistic mindset and i also decided that I actually didn’t like who I actually was becoming because romance. We parted, amicably – but we parted. Great news as I was able – over time – to regain all I had lost – emotionally and spiritually.
